I’ve just been reading how doing nothing could destroy parts of Kent by 2050.
Devastating floods, mass agricultural failure, loss of biodiversity, extreme temperatures (the 2018 heatwave caused an extra 900 deaths), and introduction of new diseases (like malaria), could all contribute to the demise of the Garden of England within just 3 decades.
It’s hard to imagine our own towns and villages no longer existing. This article puts that into perspective by focussing on four Kentish villages from the past.
